Instead their self-titled album sounds like a collection of lost or forgotten hits from some of music’s golden eras.”

Constantine & The Call Operators, a quartet adventuring in the world of Soul and rhythm’n’blues music, was founded in Helsinki in 2012. The band released their debut album in 2021, which was recorded in Tomi Leino’s 100% analog studio in Karkkila and mixed and mastered in Kid Andersen’s Greaseland Studio in San Jose, California. It is a mix of old blues, 60s soul and rock’n’roll.

In addition to Finnish venues, the band has had gigs at festivals and clubs in Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Belgium.
Despite his young age, the frontman of the band, Konstantin Kovalev, has already shown his talent as a singer and guitarist, as well as a composer and arranger. In the band The Call Operators, he is accompanied by the elite of Scandinavian blues and soul musicians.”
