MARQUE GILMORE
Also known as `the inna•most’, Marque is a US-born drummer and percussionist with a worldwide reputation. Now nearly 30 years living in Europe (Stockholm and London) as a musician, producer, composer and pioneer of live ‘Breakbeat’ music, he has collaborated with artists from a myriad of different genres: from R&B, underground dance & electronica to African music masters, Bengali Sufi singers, Indian classical artists, Rock icons and Jazz legends such as: Joe Zawinul, Vernon Reid, STING, Oumou Sangare, Manu Dibango, and receiving both Grammy and Latin Grammy nominations with his live drumming and production work with Cuban pianist Omar Sosa. Marque is now touring with rising Cuban violin virtuoso Yilian Canizares and a special project with Malian keyboard-maestro Cheick Tidiane Seck with TIMBUKTU: An African tribute to Randy Weston. BAMBO CISSOKHO
Born and raised in southern Senegal, multi-instrumentalist & dancer Bambo comes from a Mandinka Griot family whose task it is to bring traditional music traditions to future generations. He has taught at several schools in Stockholm and now features his own group SABOU in live performance recently releasing two new songs on Spotify: “Moussolou” & “Politiki” featuring his brother Abdou Cissokho on Kora, Swedish Guitar Hero Kaj Szyszkiewicz and vocalist Fanta Yayo!
